Hello, I bought a railaway ticket (Geneva-Martigny 84 CHF plus Gianadda entry) on 26.05.19. Next day I realised I will be making more train trips, so a half-fare card would be useful.
The SBB confirmed they can back-date my half-fare card by one day and deduct half of the train ticket price from the price of the half-fare card. However when they entered the ticket number into the system, it shows as a ‘business-to-business’ transaction - apparently because the train ticket was purchased through railaway.
Therefore the SBB client service refused to discount my half-fare card (CHF 185) by 41 CHF claiming that to them it looks like the train fare was paid by a third company.
What to do?
