Bernina Express tickets to buy over christmas?

My Husbands family are traveling all the way from Australia this Christmas.

We have set out a rough itinary and got on the website the other day (when we had calculated Bernina Express tickets would become avaliable to buy…), however there are no tickets showing at all after the 8th of December.

Have they just not been released yet?

If not can you please tell me when they will be released?

Or does this train not run during the Christmas period? We were hoping to catch it on the 26th…

Also If we purchase eurail/ interrail passes will these count as our tickets on the Bernina Express - leaving us to only have to buy seat reservations?

Any and all help would be very much appreaciated.

The timetable changeover will take place on the 9th of December 2018.The new timetable is open. Since not all national and international data suppliers have yet provided their data, the new timetable is not yet fully available. The missing data will be continuously updated until the timetable change on 09.12.2018.

The Bernina Express train is also covered by a Eurail Pass valid in Switzerland as long as you reserve a seat (for a small fee).
