For those wanting to travel via train, and are UK citizens (in EU but without ID card), is it acceptable to carry a colour photocopy of one’s passport, leaving the original in one’s place of accommodation. I am not using a Swiss Travel Pass, but simply a normal ticket, and hence am asking for clarification regarding the rules.
