Payment in foreign currency

I would like to pay via the webpage in USD instead of CHF. How can I do it? Do you allow Paypal transactions?

It’s not possible to pay wih PayPal on our website. However, you can pay by credit card in a foreign currency.

Please note, that the credit card issuer decides whether or not a credit card is eligible for the DCC (Dynamic Currency Conversion) service. Wer can offer this service in the SBB Ticket Shop for Mastercard and Visa. There is no DCC service for American Express credit cards.

We offer the service for 28 different currencies. When paying in the Ticket Shop SBB, our Payment Service Provider recognizes whether the payment card is approved for DCC and automatically offers the choice of whether to pay in a foreign currency or in CHF.

For further queries regarding payment using your credit card, please contact your credit card company.

Good day. I tried using at least 2 credit cards but keep getting “The payment could not be finalised. Please check your card details.” error message.

Please advise.

I am sorry to hear that. I suggest you first check with your bank to ensure that there are no problems with your card for online payments.
