Lucerne to Milan Gotthard closure

Hello. I need some advice pertaining to the closure of the Gotthard Tunnel.
I will travelling from Lucerne to Milan in December and I can’t seem to book my tickets due to the closure of the Gotthard Tunnel.
Does anyone have any advice on what tickets I can purchase?
would really appreciate any advice. Thanks 😊

Tickets for Italy after 10 December are not yet bookable. This has nothing to do with the Gotthard Tunnel closure. It is simply because on 10 December the annual timetable change takes place and trains to Italy after this date are not yet bookable. Same for the Simplon route. Try again beginning of November.
