How to go from Alpiglen to Grindelwald now that the rail is under maintenance?

Hi. I am going to hop on the Jungfrauroc - Top of Europe trip tmr and then will finish in the afternoon by hiking the Eiger trail - walking from Eigergletscher to Alpiglen. Normally at the Alpiglen train station there will be train back to Grindelwald, where I am staying. But if I’m not wrong, the Wengernalpbahn railway there is currently under maintenance, so there will be no train. How am I supposed to get back to Grindelwald from Alpiglen, or do I have to abandon the Eiger trail?

Currently, there are no trains operating between Grindelwald and Kleine Scheidegg. Also, the Restaurant Alpiglen is closed from 23. October 2023 due to summer end.

As a passionate mountaineer, I discourage you to hiking the Eiger Trail on rainy days. It is not advisable to hike this trail in falling rain or snow. It is not dangerous but challenging. And Wednesday, the weather forecast says rain: https://www.jungfrau.ch/en-gb/live/weather/
