SBB mobile and Half Fare card

I am trying to add the Swiss Half Fare Card to my SBB mobile app and can’t figure out the customer number that is required. The only numbers on my card are a ticket-ID and an order number, neither of which is 10 digits as required. Where do I find the customer number?

There is none; you cannot add the Swiss Half Fare Card to your SBB Mobile app post purchase. Simply show it as PDF, together with your physical passport or ID card.

So how does the mobile app calculate my fares?

When you purchase tickets, on the screen where the ticket offer is displayed, above the list with the possible tickets, you will find your name and next to it, a pencil icon. Click on it, then choose your name, and tick the box next to Half Fare Card.

To do so for fellow travellers, go to the SBB Mobile app, go to tab ‘Profile’ > ‘Co-passenger’, and modify your personal data there.
