I just think it could be useful for all SBB customers. This company stays for your money as devil for your soul.
I am a customer since 2009 and in 2021 join this new system of annual HalbTax subscription. This year I did not want to prolong it and did not pay the invoice. Normally, SBB service stops if you don’t pay. This is what always a case for my son’s tickets. But they prolong mine Abo for the whole 2024 and refuse any options to skip it or reduce.
Yes, they warn you in invoice that they re-new the ticket, but do not explicitly explain that you’ll be charged for it and do not give any link or way to cancel the subscription.
Or, as a bonus, you also get very unpolite lecture from their hot line person: not presented herself, hang up phones when get bored…
