Name does not update in already bought saving ticket

Hello, I recently changed my last name in Swisspass. However, the last name update was not applied to already-bought saver tickets. Therefore, when control was checking tickets on the train, they told me it was an invalid ticket. I think this can be easily solved in the app.

Name changes are not applied to already purchased tickets. It will only apply on tickets that you will purchase in the future, provided you purchase them as an authenticated user.

The tickets are generated at the time of purchase, not upon download.

Hello, Rolland. It is clear to me that the name change is not applied to tickets that have already been purchased. I learned this in a harder way when the controller told me.

I think you should fix this. It is not fair that I need to buy a new ticket because I changed my last name.

When I come across such a situation as a ticket inspector (and these situations are indeed very rare), the customers usually have their old ID card or passport with them proving their old (maiden) name.

Adapting the system would definitely be an overkill.

This is easier said than done. People changing their names is not very common. The obvious solution is to wait with changing your name in the Swiss Pass account until you have used all your already issued ticket.
But could you not show some proof of your name change to the conductor? A piece of ID with your old name for example?
