Yes, there is a luggage space in each SBB coach, on each deck. However, it seems you have a lot of luggage. Try to travel light weight, and do it like the Swiss, use a backpack instead of an airline carry on to have your hands free. Or, rent the skis on-site in Zermatt.
→ Entry doors, and aisles must be kept free at all times, for safety reasons.
→ You must be able to change trains with all your luggage in a relatively short time. There are no baggage carts available on the platforms.
→ I do not know how the situation will be on Matterhorn Gotthardbahn Railways trains, from Zermatt to Visp. These trains are narrow gauge trains with smaller coaches.
