Luggage Space Questions

Hi there, My wife and I are planning on visiting Switzerland this summer and are planning on taking the train line from Zurich HB to Interlaken Ost through Lucern and were curious about what we were going to do with our luggage. We will each have a large suitcase with dimensions of 17 inches long x 10 inches wide x 27 inches height and were wondering if these suitcases would be able to fit in the above head bin. Any advice would be very much appreciated! Thank you in advance!

I had to use a converter to know the dimensions, since we do not use inches in Europe but centimetres (43 X 25 × 68). There are baggage racks on the train as well, or you can also put it between the seats. I doubt that it will fit on the hat rack, it depends on the car type. There is no limitation regarding hand luggage; the only requirements: you must be able to load/unload it yourself, and it must not block entry doors and aisles.

My advice: travel light whenever possible, it will ease your travel.
