Half Swiss Pass in SBB App

Hi, i would like to find out if the Swiss Half Pass can be saved in the SBB App so that during the validity period, all i need to do is just purchase tickets with automatic discounted rates applied or is it that i need to select the Swiss Half Fare card ticket manually each time? I just tested on one ticket but there is no option to select Swiss Half Fare?

→ Please note, the Swiss Half Fare Card is just a ticket; thus, the SBB Mobile app does not automatically recognize the Swiss Half Fare card yet must be set manually.

→ Furthermore, whenever you travel with e-tickets or with the Swiss Half Fare Card, you must carry your physical passport, or your driving licence, or official ID card. Copies or photos on your phone are not accepted.

I don’t think my question has been answered. What i wanted to know is, once the Swiss Half Fare Card has been saved in the SBB App, does that mean i do not need to keep saving it for other ticket purchases or is it that it needs to be saved each time when i purchase a train ticket?

My 2nd question is, assuming saving the Swiss Half Card once is enough, do I still need to select the Swiss Half Fare Card option or is it by default applied automatically?

I thought to have answered exactly these questions.

Again:

You have to manually set the Half Fare Card setting once - before your first ticket purchase. The system does remember your setting for future purchases, and is applied automatically.

There is a pen displayed above the selected ticket. Click the pen to activate “Half Fare”. Save, and return. The system recalculates the ticket price to reflect the half fare.
