I made several bookings with SBB CFF FFS trains and only later downloaded the App. None of these bookings appeared in the App. How can I get them into the App so as to enjoy the convenience that the app offers?

This is not possible.

All tickets purchased before you created an SBB account will not appear in the app. You can present them as PDF or right from e-mail inbox.

Keep in mind that e-tickets need your physical ID card or passport (no copies / no photos) upon ticket check.
