When purchasing tickets, you simply have to amend your personal details, and activate the Half Fare Card setting.
In the SBB Mobile app:
You can do that from the ticket options list, see the pen icon next to your name. Click the icon, set the flag next to ‘Half Fare Card’, and save.
On sbb.ch:
Simply choose ‘Half Fare Card’ from the reductions list.
You can do likewise for fellow travelers, on tab ‘Profile’ > ‘Co-Passengers’.
Please kindly note, e-tickets require a physical passport or ID card (no photos in mobile phones, no copies) of all passengers using an e-ticket.
