Yes, the Schilthorn will be close:

SCHILTHORN CABLEWAY 20XX: From Monday, 14.10.2024, the aerial cableway between Birg and the Schilthorn will cease operating and be replaced by the new Funifor cableway (Section 3). Opening date: 15.03.2025.

There is no access to the Schilthorn summit via Birg between 14.10.2024 and 15.03.2025.
The Piz Gloria 360°-Restaurant is closed from 7.10.2024 until 15.03.2025.

To complete @Danhiel ’s reply, after mid of October, travelling to Switzerland is not a good idea, as most cable cars and gondolas are closed for maintenance. Also, the weather is usually starting to become unfavourable.
