Unable to Purchase Half Fare Card - Error

I am trying to purchase a Half Fare Card for our upcoming trip in September. I am logged in and when I choose “BUY” it brings me to a page which allows me to pick my start date and shows my name and birthdate. Then when I click on “To the checkout” I get the this message:
“An error occurred while processing your query.” No more information is given. Yesterday I tried to sign up and got past that part and I was in the process of proving my identity and wanted a phone number to send a temporary code. I put in my phone number and the site accepted the format but I never received a code. I tried again and still no code so I just signed out and tried again this morning and that is when I started getting the above mentioned error. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. The website is not super user friendly. Does anyone have any advise? Am I trying to purchase the ticket too far in advance?

If you have created a SwissPass user account, you will not automatically receive a SwissPass card. You can use the login without a card.

I assume you are talking about the Swiss Half Fare Card for tourists, not the Half Fare Card for residents.

Make sure you have all names in capital and reselect the country of residence, change to another country and change it back. It may help.

If the issues persists, try to purchase the Swiss Half Fare Card from the Switzerland Travel Center. This is the travel agency jointky operated by SBB and Switzerland tourism, their webshop is less restrictive:

Yes, I am talking about the Half Fare Card for tourists. Thank you for your response. Instead of letting it autofill my name and country (as you mentioned) I manually filled it in again and it worked! Thank you for your help!
