Group Travel Trip Leader

Hi,

I am looking to book a couple of group bookings but want to understand how the group collect their tickets. Does the person who books the tickets have to collect on behalf of the whole group or will tickets be emailed out like individual ones? We are flying in to Geneva at different times and will likely travel as 3 separate groups of around 20 passengers.

A group must travel together.

The group leader will receive 1 ticket valid for all group members. A group cannot have less than 10 group members in order to benefit from the group discount. If you want to split the groups, it must have at least 10 members and for each you need a group leader.

In addition to the ticket, a compartment on the train(s) will be reserved on your behalf.

If you want your group members to travel individually, you cannot benefit from a group discount and must purchase regular tickets (no Supersaver tickets).

Hi Roland,

Our group will travel in groups larger than 10. What i wanted to clarify was if the same group leader could collect tickets for 4 groups (of more than 10) but not travel with those groups.

For example I am arranging tickets for everyone but won’t be travelling with each group. Presumably I could pay for all the tickets but nominate someone else as the leader responsible for collecting the tickets?

Each group needs their own group leader who holds the ticket.

If you want to split your group into 4 groups, you need 4 group leaders.
