Can GA Duo card be coupled with additional discount?

Hi everyone,

My partner and I are moving to Zurich and will both be employed by ETH Zurich. To my understanding, we would qualify for the Duo GA pass if one of us gets the normal priced GA Pass. Through working at ETH one of the benefits includes 25% discount off GA travel cards, so I was wondering if this can be used for Duo passes as well? If anyone has had experience with this, or has gotten this discount through ETH, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You will get a voucher with a monetary reduction, with it, you can purchase the GA Duo Travel Cards at the counter. I think the voucher is only accepted for the person with the base GA, as the other benefits from a discount through the partner, anyway. An accumulation of discounts is usually not possible.

You should also check it with the lady mentioned on the ETH website as contact.

Thank you so much!! Do you know whether this benefit is a one time offer or is an annual option for ETH Employment? I wasn’t able to find it online anywhere.

The reduction is usually granted annually, and I think, so this is the case with ETH, too, when reading their lines about the GA voucher.
