need help with planning 3 day trip

I need help with planning a trip
day 1. a half day trip to colmar
day 2. one day trip to Jungfraujoch
day 3. half day trip to lucerne (mount rigi/pilatus if possible)
I can start my travel early in the day.
Could you please suggest the best way to reach these places over 3 consecutive days with the basecamp as Basel.

Agerys1908 You can easily find the timetables on sbb.ch or in the SBB Mobile App. You have a train from Basel at least every hour to these destinations.

Day 1: You can buy the tickets at vending machines in Basel SBB (French part of the station), on sncf-connect.com or in the SNCF mobile app. It is not necessary to buy these tickets in advance, no reservations are possible.

Day 2 and 3: I suggest to search if Saver Day Passes are available for these days, but be sure to select the full price. With these passes you can take every train on the selected day, but they are not refundable and not exchangeable:

The Saver Day Passes are not valid until Jungfraujoch, you must buy additional expensive tickets from Grindelwald or Wengen:

Seat reservations are recommended for the Jungfraujoch.

They are also not valid for the Pilatus. You must buy additional tickets here:

Saver Day Passes are valid for the Mount Rigi, it could be an alternative with the boat from Lucerne to Vitznau.

Thank you. I have decided to be in lucern of a day and visit the places around for 2 days. Please let me know if “tell pass” is a feasible option or could you guide me on a more efficient pass. I plan to visit the mountains of rigi/pilatus/ stater horn etc.

Agerys1908 I suggest to plan what excusions do you want to make and search the timetables. After this, you can see if the Tell Pass is cheaper as tickets from Lucerne. The distances in Switzerland are short, but it doesn’t mean that you can make a lot of excursion in two days.

I’m not a fan of the Stanserhorn, the capacity of the cable car is limited and you may wait 2-3 hours at the summit.

Thank you so much Danhiel. I will reach Lucerne from Basel by 9:30am and want to do pilatus and Rigi on the same day. The next day I would like to go to mount Titlis and do the museum of transport in Lucerne before heading to Zurich airport ( probably will start by 5:30pm).
I have checked out the train timetables and tried to calculate but am still confused on which pass to use. Please help

Agerys1908 The Pilatus costs 78 CHF and the Titlis 69 CHF, a total of 147 CHF, cheaper as the Tell Pass. If you buy two full price Saver Day Passes for the two days (see my earlier post), you can make all other trip with these passes (including Rigi, Basel - Lucerne, Lucerne - Zurich Airport and the bus to the museum).

Bit I cannot say how much these Saver Day Passes cost, it depends of the date of travel and the date of purchase.

To resume, I think that you have two solutions:

— Ticket from Basel to Lucerne, ticket from Zug to Zurich Airport and Tell Pass.

— Two full price Saver Day Passes and tickets to the Pilatus and the Titlis.

Thank you so much for the helpful reply. As I’m travelling next week, I think the tell pass looks to be more feasible. Besides I don’t think the price of the tell pass changes even if I buy in the day of travel. That gives me room to change plans depending on the weather.
