I bought a ticket for Tirano-Chur on june 28th at 9.00 am. I chose the “supersaver class upgrade” option when i bought it on the mobile app. Since this is my first train trip in Switzerland i didn’t understand exactly which one i should choose. I guess this is not a substitute for a train ticket. Besides that i need to buy a 2nd class ticket. Is it possible to exchange this “supersaver class upgrade” ticket for a 2nd class ticket? or is it possible to refund this ticket I have? Because I want to buy a 2nd class economy ticket directly. How should I proceed without losing money and rights? Please help. Thanks

As with all saver offers (and in line with saver air fare tickets), Supersaver class upgrade tickets cannot be cancelled.

It is stated that Supersaver class upgrade tickets require another second class ticket.

Simply purchase another Supersaver point-to-point 2nd class ticket and have a ride in 1st class.

Thank you for your kind response. After Chur I will go to Basel. Which 2nd class ticket between Tirano and Chur will be advantageous for my next trip? Or some trips are free? For example, I think there is an application called “Saver day pass”. I would be very grateful if you could help me with this issue as well. Best regards.

Yes, the Saver Day Pass would cover the entire route from Tirano to Basel, see:

If you are continuing to Basel you do not need a ticket Tirano - Chur and a separate ticket Chur - Basel. Tickets are for a a route, not a train. So buy a 2nd class ticket Tirano - Basel. There is no need to split tickets.

It is possible that when you do this that you will be offered a Saver Day Pass in stead, if it is cheaper than a normal ticket.
