It is very confusing what type of tickets to buy. We are two people visiting Switzerland for 1 week. We would like to use the trains and gondolas only for two-three days. No boats on lakes - just trains and gondolas and maybe some discounts on the tobogans and skylifts.
We plan on

going from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen and Murren - a circuit …
going to Ochinensee in Kandersteg
going from Kandersteg to Leukerbad - I know there is a car train, not sure for people …

If you travel in the Berner Oberland only, a Berner Oberland Pass could be a suitable all-inlcusive travel pass.

That’s a wrong decision; you are definitely going to miss something if you do not plan a cruise on Lake Brienz or Lake Thun, two of the most picturesque lakes we have in our country. I would rather give Lake Oeschinen a miss.

The Berner Oberland Pass is not valid on trains going from Spiez to Visp through the Lötschberg Base Tunnel. You must use the line going via Kandersteg-Goppenstein to Brig.
