Kingbob What would happen with my child who turns 16 during our trip. Would the Swiss Family Card no longer apply and I would need to buy him his own rail pass? Thanks
RolandP Hello Kingbob Decisive is the first day of validity of your Swiss Travel Pass or Swiss Half Fare Card. If your child turns 16 before your first day of travel, the Swiss Family Card is not valid. If your child turns 16 after the first day of validity, the Swiss Family Card remains valid for the entire validity of your Swiss Travel Pass or Swiss Half Fare Card and your child will continue to travel for free when accompanied by at least one parent.
