IR26 seating arrangements

Hi, I have a seat reservation on the IR26 from Goschenen to Lucerne. I was not able to choose the seat. How do I know we have been seated together? We have seat 256 and 255 in Coach 2. With a window it states. Are the next to each other? Or are they perhaps one behind the other in a single row? Thank you for your help 🙂 Sue

I’m not sure, but probably both seats at the same window, facing each other. You can choose any other free seats if you are not satisfied. Most people don’t reserve seats in the IR26.

The system would normally try to seat you together. You will probably be the only passengers on board with seat reservations, so in reality just sit where you want.

If you both have window seats they will probably be opposite each other. Looks like SOB has a funny way of numbering seats though.
