Is the Swiss Half Fare Card valid on the three high mountain lifts/trains (Gornergrat, Rothorn and Matterhorn Glacier Paradise) in Zermatt? We will be visiting Zermat after a 4-night stay in the Berner-Oberland region. For the latter, based on our experience during a previous visit to that area several years ago, the HFC is a great option.
If HFC is not valid for the high mountain lifts/trains in Zermatt, what is a good alternative if we are planning on riding all the high mountain lifts?
