Park and Rail - parking fee charged mistakenly or unlawfully to my credit card

Hi all,
Has anyone faced an issue regarding Park + Rail, whereby parking charges were mistakenly or unlawfully debited to one’s credit card, even though one’s did not park car at a particular place and time. This happened to me on 13.7.2024 in Brusio (RhB). I was on holiday outside Swizerland and noticed that my credit card was debited for 2 days of parking.
Does anyone know who at SBB should I contact on this?

Adipatania Hi,

In a such situation, you should first contact your bank and let block your credit card. Normally, banks refund the amounts in case of fraud if you certify that you didn’t use your card.

I don’t think that the RhB (not the SBB) will refund anything if they obtained an authorization from the bank to debit the card.

Thanks for your response. I did contact my bank and have blocked the card from the P&R app. However, my bank need to have a prove that I submitted the complain in writing to Sbb or RhB. Do you know to which address should I write to?

I realize that you use the app, perhaps you gave once your personal data while answering a phishing mail. You should also change the password of your SBB account.
