Just look at the online timetable on sbb.ch for Geneva - Zurich HB: This means that with your ticket, you can choose between the IC1 (goes via Bern) or the IC5 (via Biel). If drilling further down into the connections, infos about stops and a map will appear, which should explain things further. No transfers are involved in between.
