Yesterday when booking my seat reservations, my husband and I were able to choose the seats we wanted. Another couple we are traveling with booked a four person cabin and we wanted the extra two seats. When I entered their cabin information, I could only get the cabin next to them. I am unable to call sbb I am in the US. Is there another way to contact them to change my seat number possibly via email?

Did you buy your reservations on the SBB site? It is normally not possible to choose the seats.

You can call the SBB Contact Center with this number:

011 41 51 225 78 56 (24/7, waiting times may occur).

I don’t know if a change of the reservations is possible, but you can ask.

Which train is this for? You use of words like “four person cabin” seem to suggest this is a night train. Did that other couple book two berths in a four person cabin? In that case it is possible someone else booked the other two berths.
Or did they book the whole cabin? In that case you cannot book the same cabin…
