Bus 333 to Foroglio

Hello,

I am looking to take the buses from Locarno to Foroglio but it appears to not be in service at the moment. Why is that? And is there another way to get there?

This is why there’s no bus:

Everything in Val Bavona is closed for weeks if not months, including all hiking trails.

No, the complete Bavona valley is apparently still closed. The road has to be rebuilt first, some hiking trails may be reopened in 1-2 years only (e.g. huge landslide near Fontana).

See some Swiss map site or app where you can display closed hiking trails, such as => this one
