How do I link my Swisspass eticket to the SBB app

Or, to complete @Krist ’s answer, you can also save the PDF ticket on your phone.

You must carry your physical passport or Identity card whenever you use the Swiss Travel Pass. Photos on smartphones or photo copies are not accepted.

Normally you first create an account on the website. You then buy the Swiss Travel Pass. It will then automatically appear in the App if you log in with the same username/password.

If you did not do that just print out the Swiss Travel Pass e-ticket, and carry it with you. It is convenient to have it in the app, but not necessary.

Clueless I suggest to always take a paper copy of the ticket with you, your smartphone could have a problem (not all trains have power sockets). Or, if you travel with a companion, share your tickets on your smartphones.
