Child under 16 travelling with parent with half fare card

Hi, Could someone please help me with this, I have purchased a Swiss half fare card and is travelling with a child under 16. I have also obtained the Swiss Family card. When I tried to purchase my ticket on the SBB mobile app my adult ticket is showing as ½ fare. However, my child’s fare is not showing as CHF 0.
Do I need to purchase a ticket for my son or can he simply board the train with me and show his QR code from the Swiss Family card.

The Swiss Family Card is the child ticket, you do not have to purchase additional tickets.
Your son can simply board the public transport service together with you, and he travels for free whenever accompanied by one of the parents. When the ticket inspector wants to see your ticket, simply present the Swiss Family Card for him, plus his ID or passport.
