Hello

I’m travelling from Geneva airport to Le Chable. With bicycles (three).

The bicycles will be broken down and in cases (Bike Box Alan and Topeak PakGo).

Please can you tell me if I need a Bike day pass? Or is that only for bicycles that are not in boxes/cases?

I have purchased A super saver train ticket already…. If I need Bike day pass, can I add this on separately?

Travelling on a Supersaver ticket when arriving by air is a very bad idea, what if your flight is late? Your ticket will be lost if you can’t meet the departure time as given on the ticket. You need to purchase a new ticket in this case.

Bicycles in boxes / cases need a bicycle ticket and will only be transported if there is enough space for them and they do not block aisles, emergency exit doors, or emergency equipment.

Solely bikes in Tranzbags are free of charge.

On the small trains from Martigny to Le Châble the bicycle transport is very limited, especially on days with good weather.

What is a solely bike?

Do you know if it’s possible to add on a bike pass after buying the train ticket?

You said the bike space is limited… so does that mean you have to arrive early to board the train or does that mean the bike passes will be unavailable to purchase if they have already sold the maximum amount for each train?
