Bus connections

I have bought tickets online fot a bus conection between Menaggio, Italy and Lugano, Switzerland.
My ticket doesn’t confirm bus times but it was bought on the ‘rome 2 rio’ app and does matcb the format of my train tickets.
Is this usual?

If you are travelling with Panorama Express seat reservation is mandatory.

In general, public transport tickets (except for Supersaver tickets) are not for a specific service (train, bus, boat) yet for a route. You are allowed to travel the route once, while choosing the departure time at your leisure.

We recommend purchasing tickets through sbb-tickets.cc or the SBB Mobile app solely, and not with resellers which, in addition, often add an unnecessary booking fee.

I booked with ‘Postbus’ - the service ia the 631.

Note that from Menaggion to Lugano there is indeed once a day a “Postbus”, but there is also a regular, more or less hourly service operated by ASF, C_12. Your Postbus ticket will not be be valid on those buses.

Rome2Rio did you a disservice if they hid that from you.
