Hello. I am a tourist and will be staying in Zurich from October 25th to 27th this year. On October 26th I would like to take a train and make a round trip, on the same day, to Lauterbrunnen. However, I do not understand the fares shown on the website. They offer a Day Pass for a better price. I do not intend to purchase the Haf Fare Card. They show two fares, the Saver Day Pass and the Day Pass for Half Fare Travelcard.

My question is, can I purchase the Day Pass even if I do not have the Haf Fare Card?

Yes, you can buy Saver Day Passes, but these prices are displayed by default for Half Fare Travelcards. When you define the passenger, indicate that you don’t have any discount and the right (higher) price will be shown.

No, without a half fare card you can’t buy those passes as shown on your screenshot, which says “Half Fare” all over the place! Well, technically you could, but would be fined in a ticket control in the train because of travelling with invalid tickets, half fare instead of full fare.
Displaying half fare options is the default behavior of the ticket webshop (and the SBB Mobile app), as most Swiss resident travellers do have some half fare card/subscription.

Make sure that in the passenger details (where you specify your name and birthdate, either as guest or with a login), the correct “no reduction” option is selected, so the available ticket options with correct full fare prices will be displayed for your intended itinerary.

Hello. Thank you for your answers. They were very informative.
I logged in and selected the option without discount, as shown in the photos below.
So the saver day pass option, without the half fare card, would cost a total of 140 CHF for 2 people, am I right?
And with this saver day pass option, can I use the Swiss trains during that day, and get to Lauterbrunnen, go and come back?

Gerardo Junior Yes, the Saver Day Passes will cost 140 CHF for two, but note that the price could be higher later or the passes could be sold out for this day. They are not exchangeable and not refundable.

You can also continue to Mürren or Wengen with these passes, Lauterbrunnen is not very interessant. You can take another route for the return trip, for example via Meiringen and Lucerne. The pass is also valid in the city of Zürich (tram, bus, S-Bahn).
