Zermatt to Grindelwald

Hi Got a half fare and already book my trip from geneve to zermatt.However, when i book my travel from zermatt to grindelwald when i click the buy it always says “unfortunately, an error has occured”. Can someone experience this kind of error? Thank you 🙂

Yes, it is reproducible.

There are construction works planned starting 14 October 2024 and the ticketing system has not been correctly set up yet. I have notified SBB about it (POSP CS009200844 / CS009171410).

The line has been severely damaged this year after heavy rains, followed by floodings and mudslides. While it was closed for weeks, it has been reopened but further construction works will have to be done.

A full fare ticket 2nd class from Zermatt to Grindelwald costs 97.80 CHF at the ticket office.

You can buy a Saver Day Pass in advance for this day, it costs now 52 CHF (be sure to choose the full fare), Saver Day Passes are not refundable and not exchangeable.

There is no need to buy that ticket now. Try later. Or just buy at the station in Zermatt.
