salzburg to Thawli October 14th

I am taking a train from Salzburg to Thawli October 14th and there is a note on the schedule that says the following shown below. I want to know if this means I may not be able to get to Thawli, or does this warning only apply to people trying to reach those two stations mentioned and will not affect my trip?

Limited train service between Pfäffikon SZ and Lachen SZ are subject to restrictions.
This is due to construction work.
The restriction lasts from 06.10.2024, 23:00 until 21.10.2024, 05:20.
You have to expect cancellations, changed timetables and different connections.
Bikes cannot be transported.
Passengers travelling between Pfäffikon SZ and Ziegelbrücke please use the replacement bus service.
We recommend you to check your timetable online shortly before travelling.

I thought I was buying a ticket from Salburg to Lucern in the direction of Sargans.

When the ticket was issued it only went as far as Thawli, which I thought was odd, so I will need to buy a ticket for the last stretch from Thawli to Lucern. I was just concerned about that note regarding limited service between those two stations Pfäffikon SZ and Ziegelbrücke please use the replacement bus service. I am not going to either of those townss but thought i may have to take some alternate train or bus when the train gets to Lachen in order to make it to Thawli. Thanks for any guidance, I am hopin git does not apply to me and my trip to Thawli and then Lucern

If you have a ticket from Salzburg to Thalwil you will be able to travel from Salzburg to Thalwil. Public transport companies cannot just stop serving a place at their own discretion.

However it is possible that due to circumstances (planned or unplanned engineering works, incidents etc…) you will not be travelling according to the schedule that you originally selected during your ticket purchase.

It is for this reason that railways tell you to check the schedule closer to your date of travel. In your case check the schedule on the a few days beforehand. The updated schedule will be posted by then.

It is odd that you were only issued a ticket as far as Thalwil. Normally I would expect ÖBB to be able to sell you a ticket all the way to Luzern.
Never mind. Just buy a ticket Thalwil - Luzern in advance. And do not worry. You will get there. I think you will not be affected, and the substitute bus will be for the local trains only. But you will see more once the schedule is released.

Also do not worry about the connection in Thalwil. You can safely buy a supersaver ticket. As long as you leave 5 minutes for transfer your connection will be protected.
