Super saver day pass coverage

I have a Halbtax and travel frequently from Basel to Schaffhausen, so I buy the super saver day pass to not be limited with out or inbound train options.
If I am transiting through Germany using a German train but my starting point and destination is in Switzerland, is the super saver day pass valid?
The route I want to follow is from Basel SBB to Schaffhausen via Basel Badischer Bahnhof and back.

You are talking about the Saver Day Pass.
No, the Saver Day Pass is not valid on the German rail network, this despite the fact that your start and end destination is on the Swiss territory.
