Discounted upgrade ticket

Hello everyone,

I’m taking the train tomorrow and I have a discounted upgrade. I have to change trains in Bienne and I only have 3 minutes. The train is crowded because it’s morning, a delay quickly arrived… In the event that I’m late with the first train and I miss my connection in Bienne, can I take the next connection still in 1st class?? If so, what should I do or everything is ok. If not, well, too bad for me…

The class upgrade remains valid for the next possible connenection provided the misconnection was caused by the railway, and the minumum transfer time between the two trains was initially sufficient.

What’s the minimum transfert time. I have 4min in Bienne(the two platform are side to side) and 5 at Lausanne….

If the transfer is suggested by the SBB trip planner, the minimum connection time is guaranteed.
