Class upgrade for GEX using Swiss Travel Pass

My name is César and i will be traveling across Switzerland with my wife for 5 days. We bought the 2nd Class Swiss Travel Pass.

We bought as well a 1st Class ride in the Glacier Express. I’m about to but the tickets but i find myself with the following issue, from the SBB app or website I can’t visualize the option of selecting “Swiss Travel Pass” option for my upgrade ticket. I could only select “GA Travelcard”.

My question is, exactly how should I buy my upgrade tickets for the Glacier Express using my Swiss Travel Pass?

My reservation is made for march 07 2025, from Zermatt to Andermatt, 7:52-10:46.

You yourself gave your question the correct answer:

I could only select “GA Travelcard”.

That’s exactly what you have to do 🙂
The GA is the resident’s version of the Swiss Travel Pass.
