saver day pass to Innsbruck

i want to travel from Geneva to Innsbruck. Can I use a swiss saver day pass for this itinerary? Or once I cross the border into Austria, is the pass no longer valid for travel ? Thanks

Yes, you can use a Saver Day Pass from Geneva until the border station, usually Buchs SG. You need a ticket from this station to Innsbruck.

If you want to reserve a seat from Zürich to Innsbruck, you can make this reservation separately on Oebb,at. Tickets from Buchs SG to Innsbruck are also available on this site.

No, Buchs SG is in Switzerland, but some tickets may be valid in the neighbor region of Vorarlberg in Austria.

I purchased a one way ticket from Geneva to Innsbruck. Second class with an option to choose my seats on the train. However, there was no option to choose a seat. How can I do that?

When you buy SBB tickets you can indicate if you want seat reservations or not, but you cannot choose specific seat numbers on a plan, they are automatically assigned by the system.
