I concluded that a monthly travel card will be an overkill if it is indeed used for two weeks only.
You can purchase an A-Welle monthly seasonal travel card for any zone combination of your choice. An A-Welle all zones travel card includes all zones, including the ones mentioned. However, you could also just purchase a travel card for the two zones.
The Modular Travel Card is needed to commute between two or multiple fare networks, it is not needed to travel within the same fare network and not sold as such.
Yes, all travel cards will be on the SwissPass. You will get a temporary paper ticket until the card is dispatched to your place.
