As Jona is not in Zurich an annual card for Zurich will not cover it. You need a card that covers the zones that you expect to travel in regularly. The ZVV website has the info regarding that: www.zvv.ch
To get to Basel Airport you should just buy a ticket Zurich - Basel Airport. A ZVV pass for Zurich is not valid on these trains, as their first stop after Zurich HB is outside of the zones you have.
