Official minimal connection time between French and Swiss sections in Basel.

The official minimum connection time for Basel SBB is 5 minutes. But I assume that is for transfers within the Swiss section. What is the official minimum transfer time from the French to the Swiss sector?

Also 5 minutes in “Kursbuch”, but it is false. I would say it is about 10 minutes in online timetable.

Yesterday I arrived in Basel from France, and the TER was delayed so I only had 5 minutes to get to my next train. As I am a brisk walker and know my way around the station I still made it, but just barely.

I know that with a supersaver ticket you can treat a connection as “missed” if a delay reduces the connection time to below the minimum for that station. I suspect that Basel SNCF -> Basel SBB is at least 10 minutes, but would be interested in a confirmation.

That is good to know. So if I had missed my connection in this case I would have been able to take the next train with my supersaver ticket, as due to the delay my connection time had dropped to 6 minutes.
(But fortunately for me I still made it).
