We’re travelling the Bernina Express on 22 June (8:06 train) then onwards to Munich. The day before we’re travelling Luzern to Tirano on the Gottard line and bus. We were thinking of travelling light and sending our suitcases on 20 June to either Chur or St.Margrethen. These should arrive by 9am on the 22nd. So a couple of questions.
How reliable is the service (I’m assuming good) as we would have problems if they weren’t there when we arrived.
Which station would be best, St. Margrethen would be ideal, and would an hour between trains be sufficient to collect the bags.
