SwissPass Mobile is the digital version of the SwissPass card on your smartphone. This practical function enables you to present all your public transport travelcards digitally. All you need is a SwissPass login and the SBB Mobile or SBB Preview app.
When you receive a new SwissPass card, SwissPass Mobile may not update automatically. The app continues to display the old card (old photo and old card number). To update SwissPass Mobile, you must present your physical card during a ticket inspection once on the train. This will deactivate the old card, activate the new card and automatically update SwissPass Mobile.
Tip:
- Even if you use the SwissPass in the app, you must always be able to present an official ID document or the SwissPass card. Without physical ID, your SwissPass is not valid in the app. The train crew can request ID at any time.
- Expired SwissPass cards are the property of Alliance SwissPass and can be reclaimed.
