Krist You do not need to have anything linked to any account to book a seat on the Glacier Express. Just go to https://tickets.rhb.ch/en/pages/glacier-express During the booking process you will first see the full price, but later you will be able to indicate that you have a Swiss Travel Pass (which is what I suppose you have).

Krist For the Golden Pass Express reservations are not compulsory, but depending on the day of travel they may be a good idea.
