The Locarno - Domodossola line is interrupted between Masera and Domodossola until 14 March 2025 due to extensive construction work to improve the railway infrastructure near Domodossola station.
- Routes 34 / 53 and 157 / 76 will be operated by a replacement bus, travelling via Brissago without making intermediate stops.
- In other cases, the train departing from Locarno will run as far as Masera (or Trontano), where there will be a replacement bus service to Domodossola (the arrival time in Domodossola is two minutes longer than the train journey).
- Departures from Domodossola by substitute bus to Masera (or Trontano) are two minutes earlier than the regular timetable.
- Seats on the replacement bus are limited and cannot be booked. Longer journey times are to be expected. We recommend that you consult the timetable online or/and www.vigezzinacentovalli.com before each departure.
