Luzern to Stanserhorn with CabriO cable car

Hi all,

Looking to book Luzern to Stanserhorn trip, on 15Apr2023, with CabriO cable car, SBB show the price of CHF9.8 for the journey. While the single ticket on CabriO website suggest it costs around CHF18.5 for a single ascent journey with Half Fare Card.

Did i miss anything about the CHF9.8, or it is the all in price already?

I don’t know from where you have got the CHF 9.80 offer. Was it a Super Saver offer?

When I look up the trip in the SBB Mobile App, it offers the trip for CHF 18.50 one way, half fare card - same as on the Stanserhorn website. As a general saying, in Switzerland ticket costs are not-competing among different ticket providers, unless it is a special offer. SBB sells the tickets for the same price as the mountain railways and cableways companies.

you are right, the offer i see mention “Supersaver Ticket”
From Luzern to Stanserhorn for 9.8CHF, is a real bargin!!
Trust i didnt miss anything.

Yes; but, have you noticed that this ticket is only valid for a cable car departure between 08:10 and 08:54 AM? It’s validity is limited!

It is not valid later in the day while the CHF 18.50 is!
