Purchasing tickets for routes with construction

I am traveling from Paris to Interlaken on April 29 and when making the purchase I see there will be construction and the service will be interrupted. Says we should take the the replacement bus service (EV). Is something that will be included with my purchase? Do I need to book any bus tickets or purchase the bus from one point to another and then the train for the rest of the trip?

First time traveling to Swiss and using the train system, appreciate any help!

Firstly, welcome to the SBB Community.

The tickets you purchase are for a route; it is therefore irrelevant by which means of transport you will be transported.

When purchasing a ticket, you sign a transportation contract with the public transport company. With tjis contract the public transit company is obliged to get you from departure station to your destination, according to the itinerary as per schedule.

Consequently, tickets remain valid for the train replacement buses as well.

Simply follow the instructions on-site and plan more travel time to arrive at your destination. Check timetables again one day before travel.

Which departure are you looking at? I am currently not seeing any bus replacements on that route.

Then you have nothing to worry about. The train is running according to the schedule displayed on sbb-tickets.cc.

The message only says that there are works, and because of this the schedule has been modified. But that means that the schedule you are seeing is the modified schedule. If you click through you see that indeed for some local services there is a replacement bus, but that does not affect you.
