Refund/Modification in Swiss Half Fare Card

Hello. I’ve just booked two (02) nos. (for my spouse & self) of Swiss Half Fare Card through sbb.ch web link. Since I will be arriving in Switzerland on 13.04.2025 (from Stuttgart), I wanted the start date (of validity) of Swiss Half Fare Card to be 01.04.2025 so that I could avail the benefits/ redeem the Card during my period of stay (13.04.2025 to 17.04.2025) in Switzerland. But unknowingly and unintentionally I committed the mistake of purchasing the same with start date of 01.03.2025 (today). Please suggest me the way forward for prompt remedial/corrective action.

The Swiss Half Fare Card has to be valid earliest on the first day of travel in Switzerland, not before. It is not necessary to have an active Swiss Half Fare Card in order to purchase tickets. The system does not check it, it simply sells what you request. The only person being interested in your Swiss Half Fare Card is the ticket inspector.

Please, never share tickets details on the web. Protect them as you do with your personal information.
