Supersaver tickets - mistake done when buying

Hello Community, good afternoon. This It’s my first time buying tickets on the SBB website and I made a mistake when bought 2 supersaver tickets to go from Zurich airport to Bern. Without realizing it, my user name was marked with the Half Fare Travelcard discount, and the tickets were paid including that additional discount, which is not correct, because we decided not to get the Half Fare card. Is there a way to pay the difference in fare between a ‘normal’ Supersaver ticket and a Supersaver ticket that included the Half Fare Card discount? With seat reservations included, the normal Supersaver costs CHF 69.60 and the Supersaver with Half Fare Card discount included cost CHF 45.20. Do I have to buy new tickets or can I ask to pay the difference in fare at the ticket office? Thank you in advance for your comments.

Holding two Supersaver tickets at half fare, while not having the (Swiss) Half Fare Card, the tariff requires the purchase of two additional normal tickets at half fare. Thus, you would have to purchase, in addition to your Supersaver tickets, two normal tickets at half fare (CHF 29.50 each). So, in total, you would have 4 tickets for travel; they together make valid tickets.

However: are you aware of the fact that Supersaver tickets are for a specific departure only? What are you doing if your flight or the baggage delivery is late, and you will miss the train? The Supersaver tickets will definitely lost, and you will have to purchase new normal tickets at full fare.

→ We, the SBB Community, never recommend Supersaver tickets when arriving by air.

To solve the issue now:
I, personally, would repurchase two new full fare tickets for the same route, day, and passenger again. After having done so, ask for a refund for the Supersaver tickets using this form:

Supersaver tickets are not refundable; there is usually an exception made if you purchase full fare tickets instead. You might want to explain that you will not hold the Half Fare Card. The final decision is on SBB.
